I hope you enjoy the time you spend here, that you find inspiration and expression for your own creativity.  It's my aim to bring you original designs that are simple and stylish, achievable and affordable, and the raw materials to make them with.  It's hard not to love every shade and texture and when pushed to name a favourite, though I always return to greens, somehow I'm waylaid by that rich deep brown that brings me close to the earth, or wayward orange that heralds the pagan within.  Watermelons pop up then along come all those quiet greys that let you rest.  Then there are heathery shades and water shades and the neutrals that never tire.  If you're anything like me, there'll be a half dozen projects in various states of play in any number of shades.

Don't stop at one.  Keep creating.  Keep finding textures and colours that speak to you, start up a conversation with them and see where it takes you. Every stitch a mini miracle.
